Vocal Health First Aider

Since I started my career as a singing coach in 2014, I had some clients that would come to me because of some discomfort or difficulty they were facing when singing. Realising that I might be the first person that a troubled singer will communicate their problems to, was the motivation I needed to jump into this course from Vocal Health Education. After twelve hours of seminars and an interview, I am now a certified Vocal Health First Aider and you can feel even safer trusting me with your voice!

Estill Figure Proficiency
​
After attending Levels 1&2 of Estill Voice Training during an intense week of full day seminars in 2016, I was excited about gaining a deeper understanding on voice production. During the next year and a half, I took private lessons with my course instructor, Charlotte Xerri. In 2018 I passed the Estill Figure Proficiency exam, demonstrating the different sound qualities that are achieved by isolating and controlling different structures of the vocal mechanism.

Update: Since then, the Estill method has helped me enormously in my coaching sessions, equipping me with more tools and knowledge while expanding my vocal vocabulary.
The City
​
"The City" is released!
"The City" is a progressive rock concept album, accompanied with a graphic novel that presents the story behind the songs. The story is set in a dystopian City where everything is controlled through surveillance and public manipulation. In a world where the concepts of free will and independent thinking are considered a crime, a young couple struggles to break free from the oppression no matter the consequences.
The artwork and the music make a mixture which provides a unique experience to the listener/reader. I am both excited and proud to be a part of this project as a singer and songwriter!
